On December 5th the Blue and Gold Star Mothers, Fathers, Siblings, family members and veteran groups came together to help a NH Gold Star Mother in honoring her son's memory by laying wreaths at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.

A veteran who is also a proud Marine Dad put together these two slideshows.

1. Preparing the wreaths

2. Laying of the wreaths

We hope you enjoy these slideshows.

Thank you Anne, Jean and James for letting us be part of your dream

Wreaths of Remembrance ~ We had several towns last year place a Wreath of Remembrance at their town's memorial. Towns that participated were Derry, Barnstead, Gilford, Brentwood, Meredith, Wolfeboro, Raymond, Merrimack, Suncook and Lancaster just to name a few.

The precept is for each town to hold their own ceremony at the town's War Memorial on either Saturday, November 28th or December 5th to honor all our Military at Noon.  To accomplish this will require the involvement of all the local VFW Posts, AL Posts, various Veteran groups, and the communities.

Wreaths for NH Veterans Cemetery ~ A Gold Star father told us of his Wreaths at Boscawen, NHChristmas Wish ~ to have a wreath placed on the graves in the NH Veterans Cemetery for the holidays just like they do in Arlington. The Blue and Gold Star Mothers decided that we needed to make this wish come true.

We did it ~ over 1500 wreaths were gathered for the NH Veterans Cemetery!

Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped this Christmas wish come true!
