Dedication of the Cpl Matthew J. Stanley Memorial Bridge
You are cordially invited to attend the dedication of the Cpl. Matthew J. Stanley Memorial Bridge.
He may not have lived to see his 23rd birthday or his first wedding anniversary.
But in the short span of years he was granted, Army Cpl. Matthew Stanley left an indelible imprint on all the people that he met.
His unforgettable smile, his mischievous, fun-loving nature and his propensity to push the envelope in whatever direction he could manage.

The Blue Star Mothers of NH will be hosting a Blood Drive, HONOR A HERO, on June 7, 2010 from 12:00 to 5:00pm at the St. Bernard's in Keene, NH. We invite all members from the Blue Star and Gold Star Mothers (and families) to come and support this activity.
During the Summer months the blood supply is very low and the Red Cross is in need of donations. This is a perfect way to honor our sons, daughters, husbands etc that are serving in the Military both overseas and stateside.
Bring along a friend and double your donation. You can also sign on to the Red Cross website and make an appointment to donate.
We look forward to meeting you,
Fondly,
Blue Star Mothers of NH
UPDATE: Not only did we got the word out about Blue Star Mothers and Gold Star Mothers to the 110 folks who came to donate blood and to the volunteers and staff who were working the event. The goal for the blood drive was 80 pints and 8 double donors. The results were 81 pints from individual donors and 9 double donors (for an additional 18 pints), so 99 pints were collected in total. It was a job well-done and I truly thank you for your participation in helping the Red Cross reach that goal! |
